Directions to Knights Lane;

From M40 J15; take A429 towards Stowe/Wellesbourne. From the Wellesbourne by-pass turn right on to the Stratford Road (B4086) at the 2nd island.

Continue through the village of Tiddington and on leaving the village turn left into Knights Lane. The ground is past the school on the right.

 

  

PRIVATE CAR

Stratford Town are committed to keeping any inconvenience or disruption to the local community to a minimum. So if you do travel to the Club by car, it would be appreciated if you would consider and comply with the following information to help us achieve this. 

  • Car share. If possible use your car to its maximum passenger capacity, to bring other members, colleagues etc, to the Club.

  • Use an alternate route. Approach the Club from the other end of Knights Lane from Loxley Road, or from the Banbury Road via Boundary Lane and Loxley Road.

  • Do not rev up your engine, our use your horn unless you have to.

  • Keep to the speed limit, Knights Lane is 30mph.

 

COUNTY LINKS PUBLIC BUS SERVICE

There are four local bus services, which you can use to get to Stratford Town Football Club. These are the Number 15, 18, 18A, and 269 services departing from Bridge Street, Stratford-upon-Avon

The following Bus Services are available for Saturday Match Days 3.00pm kick off only. .

Number 15. Operator Stagecoach.

Outward Journey.

Leaves Bridge Street bus stop, at 19 minutes past every hour up to 16.19 hrs and you get off at the first stop which is Tiddington, Main Street/Carters Lane. It is then an approximate 7 minute, walk to the Club via Knights Lane.

Return Journey.

Leaves Tiddington Main Street/Carters Lane at 17.09hrs and 18.19hrs, which is the last bus available for this service.

Number 18. Operator Stagecoach

Outward Journey.

Leaves Bridge Street bus stop, at 42 minutes past every hour up to 14.42 hrs and you get off at the first stop which is Tiddington, Main Street/Carters Lane. It is then an approximate 7 minute, walk to the Club via Knights Lane.

Return Journey.

Leaves Tiddington Main Street/Carters Lane at 16.50hrs, 18.00hrs, and 19.00hrs,  which is the last bus available for this service

Number 269 Operator Johnson’s of Henley

Outward Journey.

Leaves Bridge Street at 13.35 hrs and you get off at the second stop which is Knights Lane, the bus stop is nearly opposite the entrance to the Club.

Return Journey

There is no suitable available return journey provided by the 269 Service. For the return journey use the Number 15 or 18, Service as already detailed above.

The following Bus Services is the only service available for mid-week matches that kick off at 7.45pm.

Number 18A Operator Stagecoach

Outward Journey.

Leaves Bridge Street at 18.32hrs and 19.22hrs, and you get off at the first stop which is Tiddington Main Street/Carters Lane. It is then an approximate 7 minute, walk to the Club via Knights Lane.

Return Journey

Leaves Tiddington Main Street/Carters Lane at 23.09hrs, which is the last bus available for this service.

  

The above services operate Monday to Saturday. For all other times please consult the timetables or ring Stagecoach on 01789 535555 or Johnson’s Coaches, on 01564 797070. Bus timetables are available at the Club office.

TAXIS

Local Taxis service, Ideal Taxis on 01789 290444.

RAIL

If you travel to Stratford upon Avon by Train, you will have to use the local Bus Service to get to the Club, which is the opposite side of the Town from the Railway Station.

When you leave the Railway Station, go up the steps onto the Alcester Road and turn left and go to the Bus Stop, by the Rother Medical Centre approximately 200yds. Catch a bus to the Bridge Street stop. Then use the 15, 18, 18A or 269 services as detailed above, to get to the Club.

CYCLING

If you cycle to the Club please use the approved cycle ways were they are available. A cycle park is available at the Club for securing your bicycle. Maps of the approved cycle paths are available at the Club, from Stratford D C and the Tourist Information Office at Bridgefoot.

WALKING

If you choose to walk to the Club it is approximately a 30 minute walk from the Town centre. Footpaths are provided all the way to the Club.
